    BEST GRINDERS EVER! Seriously.

    We count days until we can come back home for these delicious sandwiches. Every sandwich we ever eat is compared to these. "It's no Vocatura's" is an expression our kids hear often. We've searched high and low in Oregon, and nothing has measured up. Dave Vocatura and his crew know what they are doing. Their experience shows! The bread is perfection. The meat and cheese, the tomatoes and lettuce! (The lettuce is so important.) It's all excellent together.

    Plus, each time at Vocatura's, we happen to chat with at least one other patron, who also sings the praises of this bakery! Thank you for always giving us your best. We can't wait to come back again.

    Been back every so often for sandwiches and pizza, big skimping on ingredients; even with "extra meat"  Last batch of sandwiches were more iceberg lettuce than anything, bread still ok though.

    Noticed a decline over the past five years.  Been enjoying this place for a while so i will stick it out a little bit more.

    Very sad day. I am from the area but live out west. I always look forward to their grinder. Had one today and I guess they do not bake their bread anymore. Anyone can slice salami. It is all about the bread and no one had better bread than they did. I will still go for the whoopie pies. No more for the grinders.

    Went here today and the door was locked. Says they're open until 7:30pm. So I called and the owner was absolutely SOO rude. he's like we're closed we're done. And hung up. He was so rude and horrible. I do NOT recommend this place at all. HORRIBLE OWNER. if I could do zero stars, I would.

    I'd often go as a kid and absolutely loved this place. The pizza, the grinders, all of it....so good! Will definitely pay a visit next time I'm in Norwich.
